Eric Carle style Ducks

We read the book Lazy Duck and we all thought it was great! Then we read Eric Carle's book The Artist who painted the Blue Horse. We made our own Lazy Duck art using his style of art work. Discovery Today

Today we went to Room 6 and made some musical instruments.  We made some drums and maraccas.  The drums were called tom toms.   The maraccas had rice and pasta.

Celebrating

Yestereday Mrs Smith from the Salvation Army came back to school.  She came to school to pick up all the toys and books that the year 1 and 2 children had collected. Mrs Smith said thank you to all of us.  We felt excited and happy to help other people. This was our celebration for our Toy's Stories inquiry.

Buddy Writing

Yesterday we did some writing with our Room 13 buddies. We wrote a story about our buddy and what they looked like.  We had lots of fun writing with our big buddies. They even marked our work. They thought we were excellent writers!
